Dental implants are suitable for most patients who are missing one or more teeth and have healthy gums and sufficient bone density to support the implants.
With proper care and maintenance, dental implants can last a lifetime.
The dental implant procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia and sedation and is not painful. As with any surgical procedure, patients will experience discomfort and swelling during the healing process. This is temporary and can be treated with over-the-counter pain relievers. Be sure to follow your dentist's post-operative care instructions to ensure a smooth recovery.
Depending on the patient's needs and treatment plan, the dental implant process can take several months to complete. Your treatment will include multiple visits to our office, including your initial consultation, treatment planning, implantation procedure, and receiving your permanent replacement teeth.
Dental implants should be treated like natural teeth, with regular brushing, flossing, and dental checkups.
Dental implants have a success rate of up to 98%, making them one of the most successful tooth replacement options available.
